I disagree with Mr. Burns' assertions vehemently. I see nothing but deleterious effects from the legalization in Maine. It is absolute stupidity on the part of the state to allow the out-of-state-money-interests to get away with this phony citizens' referendum here to legalize recreational use. We see it as it effects local businesses who have to fire employees because they are stoners, and you see it routinely when you are on the highways here -- people smoking dope while driving. Just look at Colorado's accident statistics now after they legalized it. The marijuana of today is way different than what it was 30 years ago. I'd say the dope of the 60's was like 3.2% beer compared to today's marijuana as 110 proof vodka. Reply->

In Canada, we have it legal for over a year, does not seem to be any problem, I worked with people who had it and smoked for years, no problems, Of course, you can abuse anything, At work, the problem was alcohol abuse, not pot, should have been legalized years ago and should have far more restrictions on booze. Most people in prison are there because of booze. Reply->
